The Chanji Boys took the lead in the 35th minute through L. Dadong, who put Katsina United ahead after a composed finish.
Katsina United appeared set to secure all three points on the road, but Enugu Rangers produced a late equaliser through C. Oputa in the seventh minute of added time, 90+7, to rescue a point for the league champions.
The encounter was played at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, with both sides settling for a share of the spoils.
